RACE ENTRIES

The race entries will be limited to 50 riders for Senior and Master events and 40 riders for Junior and Go-Race events.
For men's, women's and youth races priority will be given to other clubs that are hosting rounds of the 2016 Tarmac Tour of Hertfordshire, initially a team entry of 4. The field will then be selected by the following process: Central Region Clubs/Teams, All other Clubs/Teams. If places remain the team sizes will be expanded on an equal basis based on entered clubs.
Unattached Riders will be given a place if the event is under-subscribed after all of the above criteria have been applied.

CYCLING VILLAGE

Bring the family... The Berkhamsted Castle Revolutions Festival will include not only 8 hours of closed road racing but also children's activities and a fun cycling village located in the grounds of Berkhamsted Castle. You'll be able to buy a momento, food or even a new bike for that authentic European cycling feel.

RACE SIGN ON

Sign on & kit check are located at the Berkhamsted Cricket Club, Castle Hill, HP4 1HE and will open 1h 30m before each race and will close 30m before. In order to keep to schedule riders must be penned 20 mins before each race.
Rider penning is located next to Berkhamsted station under the railway bridge at the bottom of Brownlow Road.

GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL

Berkhamsted Castle is located next to Berkhamsted train station (London Midland) and we recommend traveling to the festival by train. The Castle is also a very short walk from Berkhamsted town centre.
If you are traveling by car please allow plenty of time as the town can be busy and there are road closures on the day (see map below).

PARKING

Parking is available in Berkhamsted car park (next to Waitrose), Tesco and Waitrose car parks. Berkhamsted train station car park is also open via Bridgewater Road. Access in and out of the station car park will be limited as the entrance is very close to the race circuit at Berkhamsted Castle.
All of these car parks charge for parking.
There is additional parking on the section on New Road from the War Memorial/Ashridge College Road junction to Brownlow Road junction.
